Curriculum

  • Interprofessional team-based inpatient & outpatient teaching
  • Comprehensive didactic daily teaching schedule
    • EBM Journal Club
    • M&M to include systems of care & interprofessional clinical care/communication analysis
    • 18 month recurring comprehensive inpatient & outpatient specialty-specific didactic curriculum
    • Board Review & materials provided
    • Wellness, Professionalism, Communication & Research Curriculum
    • Simulated Patient Experiences
    • Residents as Teachers & Managers Curriculum
  • Integrated BHMC Process Improvement Program & Curriculum with Black Belt expertise in Lean Six Sigma

Rotations

  • Residency clinical experiences include:
    • 4 +2 clinical schedule
    • Rotations in all the subspecialties of adult medicine including Neurology
    • Additional exposure to Anesthesia, Behavioral Health, Telehealth, Office Gynecology, Office Dermatology, Office Ophthalmology, PM&R, Post-Acute Medical Care, Population Health
    • Electives for special interests and research opportunities
