August 19, 2024 by sydneydavis

Baptist Health-UAMS GME was awarded the ACGME Back to Bedside Grant, which focuses on developing projects that strive to connect with patients on a deeper level.

A team of brilliant minds from our Psychiatry Residency Program, including resident physicians Dr. Devin Morris, Dr. Sushma Srinivas, Dr. Alexander Malati, Dr. Sahil Kapoor, and Assistant Psychiatry Program Director, Dr. Holly Agud, recently traveled to the ACGME headquarters in Chicago to present the “Minds Matter” project, which they are actively conducting to reduce stigma and resistance to psychiatry consultation for hospitalized patients. There, they were one of the 23 teams to win the ACGME Back to Beside Open Innovation Project Award nationally.

Congratulations to the team for all of their hard work and dedication, and the entire GME leadership for supporting them!
