Holly Agud, MD, is originally from North Little Rock, AR. She attended Vanderbilt University for her undergraduate degree in Molecular and Cellular Biology, then returned home to Central Arkansas for medical school and residency where she attended the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. Following her residency in Psychiatry, she worked at the VA Hospital in North Little Rock for 3 ½ years on the acute inpatient psychiatry unit, served as the NLR-VA Site Director for the UAMS medical students completing their third-year psychiatry clerkships, helped teach the Brain and Behavior course to first year medical students, and remained active in the UAMS psychiatry residency, serving on the residency education council and leading the curriculum committee. She has always had a passion for teaching and is incredibly excited to step into her role as Associate Program Director for the Baptist Health-UAMS Psychiatry residency program while also establishing a consult-liaison psychiatry teaching service at BHMC-NLR. Dr. Agud has two sons, Oliver (age 7) and Hamilton (age 4), and in her free time, she enjoys baking, watching Star Wars movies, and having Beyblade tournaments with them.
