Siva Sundeep Koppolu, M.D.Specialization/Interest

My interests encompass interventional psychiatry ,emerging psychiatric treatments, interventional pain management approach, and history in medicine. As a psychiatric resident teacher, I provide didactic series in cultural psychiatry, bipolar illnesses, neuropsychiatry, and neuromodulation. As an interventional psychiatry fellow, I was involved in hundreds of electroconvulsive therapies, transcranial magnetic stimulation and intranasal S(+)-Ketamine treatment deliveries. I was also involved in the evaluation and recommending stabilization for Parkinson’s tremors, essential tremors, dystonia and obsessive compulsive disorder patients towards their route in obtaining deep brain stimulation. As an interventional pain management fellow, I was in harmony with a multidisciplinary approach, which encompasses physical therapy, psychological discussions, medications management and procedures for appropriate patients.
