Jessica Stovall, MD, is originally from Bryant, AR. She attended the University of Arkansas for her undergraduate degree in Biochemistry, then returned to Central Arkansas for medical school and residency at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. Following her residency in General Psychiatry, she completed a fellowship in Geriatric Psychiatry at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. She worked at the VA Hospital in North Little Rock for almost six years in the outpatient Mental Health Clinic (MHC), where she provided clinical care in a variety of settings, including an outpatient geriatric psychiatry clinic, memory clinic, and telehealth coverage to a community-based outpatient clinic. In addition to her clinical work, she supervised third-year psychiatry residents and later became the Mental Health Clinic Program Manager, overseeing 30+ clinical staff members and clinical operations. Throughout her time at the VA, she was involved in resident education through her role as a resident supervisor in the Mental Health Clinic, including weekly didactics and participation in the Resident Education Committee. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family and is a big Razorback sports fan.
