Dr. House is originally from Conway, Arkansas, where he attended Hendrix College for his undergraduate degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. He then attended medical school at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. Following completion of a residency in General Psychiatry at UAMS, Dr. House completed a fellowship in Forensic Psychiatry at UAMS and the Arkansas State Hospital. He worked at the Arkansas State Hospital after training completion for 2.5 years, serving as the Forensic Section Chief prior to transitioning to work at the VA facilities in Central Arkansas for 5 years in the outpatient general mental health clinic, on the inpatient consultation liaison service, and in the outpatient ketamine clinic. Dr. House currently serves as an attending on the inpatient psychiatry unit at Baptist Health’s North Little Rock Campus. His clinical interests include forensic psychiatry and interventional psychiatry. In his free time, Dr. House enjoys woodworking and fly fishing.
