WHAT MAKES CENTRAL ARKANSAS A GREAT PLACE TO LIVE
This place is surrounded by beautiful lakes, mountains, and the Arkansas River. Apart from natural beauty and fresh air, the quality of life attracts me the most to stay here beyond my residency and make it my permanent home.
WHY I LOVE BAPTIST HEALTH-UAMS INTERNAL MEDICINE PROGRAM
The Baptist Health-UAMS Internal Medicine Program offers me opportunities and tools to meet my full potential as a physician throughout the tenure of the residency training. The program has a strong curriculum that meets my academic and clinical aspirations. The faculty and the administration are focused on residents’ well-being through maintaining a healthy work-life balance and arranging fun activities like the resident retreat for building friendships. I found a solid work culture among my peers and seniors that promotes professional excellence.
FUTURE PLANS
I would love to become a hospitalist after my residency and serve the people of Arkansas. The dynamic role of hospitalist physicians in the healthcare system and the opportunity to work with a wide range of specialists to deal with diverse and interesting cases seem challenging and fulfilling to me.
THE ONE THING I WANT PEOPLE TO KNOW ABOUT ME
I love to travel, and I always look forward to my next trip.
BEST ADVICE I WAS EVER GIVEN
Treat people as you would like to be treated.
WHAT I DO FOR FUN
I enjoy nature walks, hosting parties, and spending time with my friends and family.
LAST GREAT BINGE WATCH
Breaking Bad, Money Heist, The Morning Show.
BEST RECENT LOCAL DISCOVERY
Ozark Mountains.
RESEARCH/SCHOLARSHIP
Before starting my residency, I had experience working as a collaborative research volunteer which taught me the importance of perseverance, determination, and teamwork and helped me co-author 5 PubMed indexed publications.
