WHAT MAKES CENTRAL ARKANSAS A GREAT PLACE TO LIVE Given the name “The Natural State”, there are many beautiful places around to explore and to have fun with the family. I came from the North East and I like the climate in AR not being so cold during the wintertime. I enjoy having all four seasons.

WHY I LOVE BAPTIST HEALTH-UAMS INTERNAL MEDICINE PROGRAM What I like the most about the program is being the inaugural class of residents, there are endless opportunities to learn directly from the faculty who are easily accessible, supportive, and has a great passion for teaching. I am fortunate to have such a dedicated program director who has created a nurturing environment for the residents with great emphasis on academics and clinical education. More importantly, I have an amazing group of co-residents who help each other and you never feel like you’re on your own. I am proud to be a part of the Baptist Health family. 

FUTURE PLANS To hone my skills in hospital medicine and primary care medicine, and explore various specialties in medicine.

WHAT I DO FOR FUN Gardening, singing, watching movies with my husband, and spending time with my kids.
