WHAT MAKES CENTRAL ARKANSAS A GREAT PLACE TO LIVE Central Arkansas is a great place to live because it has a little bit of everything, great outdoor activities, wonderful shopping, and dining venues and because you’re centrally located you’re not that far of a drive to pretty much anywhere you want to go. 

WHY I LOVE BAPTIST HEALTH-UAMS INTERNAL MEDICINE PROGRAM Simply put, it’s the people who make the Baptist Health-UAMS program so great. Everyone is so excited to be involved in teaching and doing whatever they can to help us on our journey to become great physicians.

FUTURE PLANS I am an Arkansan through and through and I bleed Razorback red. I remember early on in my training I learned that Arkansas ranked pretty low nationally in healthcare outcomes. This really had a big impact on me. The more I looked into the reasons why this is. The more I learned about the challenges Arkansans face with access to healthcare. I’ve developed a passion for rural communities. Coming from a small town, my future plans involve becoming part of the solution to improve access in these communities.

THE ONE THING I WANT PEOPLE TO KNOW ABOUT ME I want my patients to know that I am on their side and my goal is to help them live longer healthier lives.

BEST ADVICE I WAS EVER GIVEN The best advice I was given came from my father when I was debating on whether or not to go to medical school. “How do you eat an elephant? One bite at a time”.

WHAT I DO FOR FUN I’m a big outdoors person. I love going to the lake and going camping.
